Wonderful cupboards by world designers

Finnish designer Klaus Aalto presented recently interesting work-out. This is the series of original clothes wardrobe-cupboards. The author called them “Take Out”. The essence of work can be described with a couple of words: instead of habitual cases Klaus decided to use separate attaches which can be taken out and put back one by one. The body is made of MDF, shelves – of aluminum, legs of cupboards are steel and cases – plastic. Three models of the series are already worked out. Considering the idea very interesting somebody will not be able to see it as a cupboard for clothes. Then it can be used somewhere in the shop and contain in its cases many instruments, hardware and other necessary things.

The square is possibly the most interesting figure in geometry because it is a rectangular and a rhomb at the same time. In the interior it can be implemented in cupboard, wardrobe and anything else: the ideal form for many elements of furniture. The cupboard called “Cubo” created by Lessmore company did not reach the cube but its facade is an ideal square. It is low enough to serve as a cupboard and wide enough to be used as a secretaire and this element is very comfortable for keeping personal things and is an original part of interior.

As a real connoisseur you consider that every element of interior should be not only practical and functional but also interesting and creative. “Beauty and monster” is an original project by Irish designer Jenny Walsh from Dublin. For creating this collection she was inspired with the famous cartoon “Beauty and monster”. The models presented in the collection distinguish with uncommon, angular, a little futuristic form. Folding lighting Transparent Light Origami by Emory Krall

The additional help can come from the efforts to combine the skills which seemed to be incompatible before. The real mastership was born when designer Emory Krall decided to create something shining and colorful and at the same time something folding and changeable. The uncommon folding lamp-origami which was called Transparent Light Origami was created owing to the real inspiration.

This lamp is flat like the sheet of paper. But this is until you would like to play with it. This is more to it than meets the eye that it was called Transparent Light Origami: like any toy-origami it is necessary to fold it up. This is very simple because the uncommon lighting consists of pieces of triangular form connected with each other. Of course all pieces are of different colors, - we do not forget about the inspiration of rainbow.

So how is it possible to play with it? Well, first of all it is possible to make the abstract figure which will shine with all colors of rainbow at the same time or with every color one after another. Bookstands: minimalism and functionality

These “cages” are not only decorations but also the functional elements of the bookstand because it is possible to use them for keeping small subjects on which the owner would like to emphasize.

All these models will blend wonderfully with any modern interior.

Entertainment furniture

From day to day the new models of video and audio equipment appear on the market. The furniture intended for placing this equipment is perfected together with it. The simple cupboards for TV-sets are placed with the multifunctional stands and supports which are equipped with special shelves, holders and niches for keeping various devices and things.

In terms of functionality the entertainment furniture divides into 4 main groups: for TV-set and video equipment, for audio equipment, for acoustic systems and for carriers (CD, DVD and video cassettes). Besides that, there are the combined models which allow placing different devices in various combinations.

The stand for TV correspond an open construction with vertical supports and shelves fixed to it. There are usually one or two shelves: for video recorder and/or DVD-player. Other model of TV furniture is the stand with side and back walls plus/minus doors.

Cabinet furniture and open models have their merits and demerits. Open furniture provides the necessary ventilation; the close stands and cupboards hide the equipment and protect it from dust.

Furniture for audio equipment and Hi-Fi components usually has no case and look like the common bookstand. It stands on the high legs-supports and the shelves fixed to it. The shelves are placed one above other in one or two lines. The legs of furniture for audio equipment are fitted out with special tips for damping vibration.

Many equipment stands are combined and serve for placing different kinds of equipment. The forms of them are quite diverse. All devices, if there are not many of them, are placed vertically, one above other. Some models consist of two or three sections each of which correspond the separate stand.

Harry Allen offers to sit down on “Pipeline”

The aesthetics of loft which appeared on the joint of creative freedom from conditionality (which also included the traditional approach to dwelling) and looking for something nonstandard by well-off youth satiated with predictability of everyday life gives birth to new forms of furniture.

The furniture system “Pipeline” worked out by American designer Harry Allen for Dune company (USA) corresponds completely to the industrial features of loft.

It quite organically blends into the space of uncovered beams, ramified reinforcement and air channels, surfaces of unwrought bricks and concrete, columns, huge windows and wearing course… The system consists of four elements of pipe form, cruciform and T-form connectors and elbow which can be bended up forming the table with wood table top.

The parts of soft “pipeline” can be formed into various combinations corresponding with the functions of placement. The wood frame of entire wood is in the base. The frame is made of medium density fiberboard, the polyurethane foam is the filling and the legs of sofas are made of aluminum.

Undoubtedly the original form surmises the significant interest to such decision however it would be also very interesting to look at the person sitting on such sofa.
